Olympic and world champion speed skating
Bart wrote history,
As an 8-year-old, Bart got inline skates as a gift from his parents and what followed was a huge passion. It seemed like his body was made for the sport. In 2010, he made the switch to ice skating to fulfill his ultimate dream: an Olympic gold medal. He achieved his medal in 2022, making it the very first Belgian Olympic gold medal ever in speed skating.
